Pastor Stanley Murray holds two degree of studies, one in the Arts of Criminal Justice, and the other in the Science of Theology. It was at Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor G. Christopher Clark, that he received his ministerial license. Later, he served as a minister at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Rollie Murray Jr.
Pastor Stanley Murray is a retired Gulf and Iraq war veteran of 22 years, where he served in the U.S. Navy and Naval Reserves. During that time, he worked as a police supervisor and instructor of Police Patrol, Defense and Response Tactics. He also worked as a Subject Matter Expert in the Anti-Terrorism Countermeasure Techniques aboard US Naval Warships and Bases. Consequently, this allowed him the humble opportunity to teach all over the world.
Pastor Stanley Murray is currently a 25-year veteran of the Orange County Sheriff's Office where he is assigned to the Patrol Command Staff of International Drive and Walt Disney areas as the Assistant Squad Leader of Crime Prevention Techniques. He is also assigned as the Lead Coordinator and Trainer for the Sheriff's Office Chaplains Unit. Experienced as a high school resource officer, state certified law enforcement instructor, and field training officer.
Pastor Stanley Murray is a past Graduate Chapter President of the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated of Metro Orlando, and currently serves as a chapter chaplain. He is an affiliated volunteer with Orlando WOKB 1680AM radio, a social media station and is guest co-host of the Lady "D "Christian Youth Forum. Pastor Murray also humbly serves as an adjunct instructor for the Metro Orlando Salvation Army and the Job Partnerships of Central Florida.
For 18 years, Pastor Stanley Murray has served as the CEO & Founder of the WASSUP Family Mentoring Program where more than 300 families have received services and resources in the Central Florida area.
In addition to all his pastoral responsibilities, Pastor Stanley Murray also volunteers as an adjunct preacher/teacher for the Central Florida Salvation Army and the Job Partnerships of Central Florida.
Pastor Stanley Murray is a YMCA Adult Achievers Award Winner and alumnus. He is also a recipient of The Dr. John T. Washington Community Service Award from the University of Central Florida, as well as a "Who's Who" of Metro Orlando Community Award.
In 2011 Pastor Stanley Murray became the Founder and Installed Pastor of the Mt. Zion Tabernacle Christian Church, located in Orlando Florida. Pastor Stanley Murray acknowledges the unwavering strength and partnership of his beautiful wife Tameka Murray, of which they share three wonderful children; Tiyahna, Tyonn and Tyree. He credits his late mother, Evangelist Mary Lee Murray-McMillion for a Pentecostal anointing in leadership, along with family, and friends who have believed in him even when he did not believe in himself.
